Yes. You can purchase the copyrights two ways.

Can I get a digital file of my PhotoArt work?
You can purchase a digital file of your image which includes the copyright to reprint. You may then take your digital file to your local photo lab to have additional prints made.
A word of caution however, the quality will differ from place to place.
You can always contact us to order additional prints. We will have a backup copy of your image on file for 90 days and at a later date, you would only need to send us the digital file for any reprints at the lower reprint prices.
Please note, we will not be liable for disappointing prints that may come from other sources.

Can you have work done on a photo that was taken by a professional photographer?
Under current copyright law, PICasso Gifts 'n Things will not copy, retouch, or otherwise alter a photograph that is the intellectual property of another person.
If you have a photo that was taken by a professional photographer within the last 95 years, the photo may be under copyright protection. We request that you do not send a photo that might be protected, unless you include written permission from the photographer.
All family snapshots and photos taken by yourself are acceptable. Professional photos from the mid-1900's may have had their copyrights expire, but use your best judgment. Post-1964 professional work needs to be accompanied by a letter of "consent to copy," using those or similar words. Alternatively, if you are sure you own the copyright, you may include a sworn statement to that effect.
